“Yes, the men in God’s service must be able to bring a good report of themselves and must not be double tongued — he must not bring a mixture of good and bad reports which in nearly every case is calculated to serve his own selfish interest, or it reflects his low spiritual condition. When one starts giving bad reports he is either assuredly falling into a snare of the Devil, or it is an index that he has already fallen into the snare.”
