“The days of our years are threescore years and ten (70); and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years (80), yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.” Ps. 90:10.

“A person’s lifetime is in reality very short, and composed of three periods:
childhood, prime, and old age. It is usually in his prime period of life that man is most productive, and since it is but a part of his lifetime, he should never waste a minute of that time.
Let’s take a look at a human’s life. If a baby should be born today, and lives to be 70 years old, the amount of days that he/she would live, should be (70 years multiplied by the 365 days in the year) 25,550 days!
Now according to the different ages below, see where you fit and how many days you have.
A 25-year-old (years left to live 45 multiplied by 365 days in a year =16,425 days). Days left to live 16,425.
A 30-year-old (years left to live 40 multiplied by 365 days in a year =14,600 days). Days left to live 14,600.
A 35-year-old (years left to live 35 multiplied by 365 days in a year =12,775 days). Days left to live 12,775.
A 40-year-old (years left to live 30 multiplied by 365 days in a year =10,950 days). Days left to live 10,950.
A 45-year-old (years left to live 25 multiplied by 365 days in a year = 9,125 days). Days left to live 9,125.
A 50-year-old (years left to live 20 multiplied by 365 days in a year = 7,300 days). Days left to live 7,300.
A 55-year-old (years left to live 15 multiplied by 365 days in a year = 5,475 days). Days left to live 5,475.
A 60-year-old (years left to live 10 multiplied by 365 days in a year = 3,650 days). Days left to live 3,650.
A 65-year-old (years left to live 5 multiplied by 365 days in a year =1,825 days). Days left to live 1,825.
A 70-year-old (years left to live 0 multiplied by 365 days in a year = Mercy). Days left to live? Mercy!
We should see that we get 100% value out of every minute we live. To accomplish this we must conserve our energy by eliminating useless and unnecessary effort. In that way our endurance is lengthened and we can actually accomplish more. Since it does take time and effort to talk, for instance, we should avoid useless talk, and learn to make every word count for good only. Lost time can never be recovered regardless how we wasted it. It is gone for eternity. Therefore how valuable time is.
Of no talent He has given will He require a more strict account than of our time.
